Hi! I think that here you need a permanent page with a couple of lines about the blog and about the author of this blog — about me :)
It is quite difficult to write something clever and interesting about yourself, so I will limit myself to a few simple words, but the reader of my blog will be able to see something more detailed in subsequent entries.
So, my name is Alex. I am 50+ years old. I am a Russian, I live in the city of Seversk. This is one of several “secret” closed towns of the country, classified back in Soviet times, mainly due to the presence of some secret factories before, for example, for the military industry. Until relatively recently, my city wasn’t even on the maps :)
At this point, the reader may have a question — what and why does this strange Russian want to tell us here? Perhaps this is some kind of communist propaganda again? Why should a middle-aged person do any nonsense at all, a blog is a hobby of young and modern people. :)
My answers are pretty simple. I want and do it. This is something like entertainment, trying something new for yourself. I’m an invalid. Although no, just a person who, for health reasons, is a little limited in some physical activities. In general, I’m like everyone else. I walk, jump, and even run a little :) I can not be counted in any way among the people who really overcome some difficulties of disability. However, the extra free time due to my lifestyle is also the Internet-one of the first natural windows to the world. Why not call yourself a fashionable word “blogger” and try to master this area of activity.
What will my blog be about? “Everything I see that comes to mind.” The usual topic of the first blog. To which reader is this blog addressed? Perhaps for those who want to learn something about the life of a simple Russian Siberian far from the capital, in a small town in the middle of the taiga. To hear something, so to speak, firsthand. Look at ordinary Russians through the prism of some small things. I would like to tell the reader about Siberia, about nature and interesting places. I love traveling, I traveled a lot in Siberia myself, as long as my health allowed. Perhaps some entry in this blog will someday lead the reader to come to Siberia on a tourist trip. Some notes about simple things around me may give the reader a clearer idea of my homeland, how ordinary people live, compare it with their ordinary surroundings and understand how much people from different countries differ from each other. I would probably like to avoid any political polemics, since the topic of politics is of little interest to me personally, but if my reader is interested in something, it will certainly be covered.
In general, dear reader, I am waiting for your questions, I will try to answer them all .
I apologize in advance for my English. Or rather, it is not even mine — I generally have a level of knowledge of the English language at a rudimentary level, when you roughly understand what you are being told and often open the dictionary to clarify something. English texts in my blog are automatically translated from Russian with my minimal edits. The fact is that the spoken Russian language can be quite difficult to translate because of the large number of some allegorical turns and synonyms. If something is grammatically incorrect, feel free to correct the author!
What else can I write about myself? That’s what I would not have noted, to this you can safely attribute the words “but I do not do” (I know, it sounds ridiculous). I love, as I said, traveling — but because of health problems and, let’s call it “an unstable personal economic situation”, I have not been going anywhere for several years. I am fond of photography, but I also do not do this hobby — in a car accident that interrupted my last journey, unfortunately, my SLR camera “died the death of the brave”, health problems provoked the loss of a permanent job, in general, I only think about a new camera, and I do not want to shoot on a Chinese smartphone after a normal camera :) I love European football, but again, due to my age and health, I only watch it on TV. I love interesting movies, video games (yes, despite my age), but I only play a couple of online games — World of Tanks, Lost Ark, if these names mean something to someone. Modern games would certainly be happy to try, but there is no money for a top-end computer or at least PS4 yet. And I also respect retrogames very much!What else…. I still like to eat, here! No one can take that away from me ;)
I live in my own apartment in an apartment building, with my wife and an old mother who needs to be taken care of. Children, unfortunately, God did not give.
In general, life is like life, it is special for all people in its own way, but in general nothing unusual.
I feel it’s time to finish this short introductory topic on this nonsense. Maybe I’ll add something to this page later.
